OVERVIEW
FirstWave Cloud Technology has been delivering Cybersecurity-as-a-service solutions to the market since 2004. Today, FirstWave is present on five continents. At the heart of FirstWave is our unique and proprietary technology – the Cloud Content Security Platform (CCSP). The cloud platform enables our service provider partners to deliver a comprehensive range of security services to SMB customers from a single platform ‘as-a-Service’. This provides economies-of-scale and efficiencies that enable the provision of a range of security services (email, web, firewall, endpoint) typically only affordable by very large customers with dedicated cybersecurity resources. CCSP was developed in Australia and today services thousands of global end-user customers ranging from small business to large enterprises and government, including the Australian Federal Government, through our partner, Telstra. Enterprise functionality is provided by Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet and TrendMicro.
BUSINESS SOLUTION
FirstWave solves two critical problems: For Service Providers: how to meet increasing demand for affordable, effective and easy to implement cyber- security and create new, profitable, revenue streams, and For SMB end-user customers: minimising business risk associated with ever-increasing cyber-crime with affordable, enterprise quality solutions. The CCSP platform provides “multi-tenancy”. This means that one license from FirstWave’s technology provider can be applied across many customers each of whom is kept discrete, separate and independent, but still has access to the security services they have subscribed to at significantly reduced cost. The platform also provides a range of services for the service provider including orchestration, automation, provisioning and billing. CCSP has been designed to be extensible to enable a range of new security services and capabilities e.g adaptive cyber risk and threat intelligence enrichment.
