Organisations need to know what unauthorised WiFi is in their environment and then actually find it so it can be removed. HackHunter detects and locates unauthorised WiFi sources with precision, to within a few centimetres. In a WiFi audit with an ASX50 finance organisation we found hidden devices their existing method couldn’t detect, including one device under the floor and another hidden in a bag which was remotely turned off when we approached. And a US Defence Prime found an unknown WiFi source in a secure site using the HackHunter Pursuit portable WiFi tracker.
The HackHunter Pursuit portable WiFi tracker and Vision continuous monitoring sensors detect unauthorised WiFi, alert if it is malicious, and locate the source with precision, all in real-time. WiFi-operated drones and their controllers are detected, real-time alerts produced, and both the drone and its controller can be separately located with precision by the HackHunter Air drone detection system. Data is passed in real-time to the HackHunter Insight analytics platform, which provides reports, dashboards and forensics. Unlike routers or WiFi network analysers, HackHunter determines if unauthorised WiFi is malicious, alerts in real-time and locates the source with precision, to within a few centimetres.
