Our target is to solve the Digital Identity Fraud Problem. We do this by having an innovative way for second factor authentication, zero trust networking, supply chain provenance, etc. We have a patent-pending technology towards this end. We have coined the term Silicon Biometrics for our technology. It is like human biometrics, but for the electronic devices. In fact it is about 10M X better than human biometrics. Silicon Biometrics is a technology to identify device's uniqueness from the remnant of the manufacturing process. Silicon Biometrics does not require any change in the manufacturing process. We leverage the inaccuracies in the manufacturing process to make our technology work.
Digital Identity Fraud is a global problem and is draining the world economy of USD 550 B annually, directly and indirectly. This is in spite of spending around USD 150 B annually worldwide to solve this problem. Disguising of a human or device in the digital world is termed as digital identity fraud. Silicon Biometrics can provide a innovative countermeasure to reduce the problem significantly. Silicon Biometrics can be used in the following scenarios among many others: 1. Second factor in a two-factor authentication (or a subsequent factor in multi-factor authentication). 2. Implementing Zero Trust Networking 3. Mitigating against SIM swapping attacks 4. Mitigating against remote phone hijacking 5. Solving supply chain provenance for complex electronic devices like avionics engine 6. Making IoT networks less prone to cyberattacks 7. Strengethening application of blockchain to utilities industries
